There were three more murders overnight.

In San Fernando, a 65-year-old man was shot dead on Saturday morning. He was identified as Stephen Pope, of Cipero Street, San Fernando.

Four other people were wounded in this incident, and are warded at the San Fernando General Hospital.

They have been identified as Jordan Charles, John Mark Ashford, Anthony Mitchell, and Eton Chatterpaul.

Charles is in a serious condition, Ashford, in a critical condition having suffered gunshot injuries to his head, while both Mitchell and Chatterpaul are both listed in a stable condition.

According to police reports, the incident took place at about 5.15 am along Cipero Street.

Police were told that there was a confrontation at a bar along the roadway known as Hashtag Bar, following which several loud explosions were heard. Pope lived above the establishment.

The police and emergency health services were notified and all wounded men were rushed to the hospital.

A total of 32 spent shells were recovered.

MURDER IN BLANCHISSEUSSE

A 47-year-old man was stabbed to death in Blanchisseusse on Saturday morning.

He was identified as Garfield Pickering, of Upper Blanchisseusse Road.

The incident took place around 6 am along the Paria Main Road in the vicinity of the cemetery.

Pickering got into a physical confrontation with a group of men during which he was stabbed.

He was rushed for medical treatment but died around 8.45 am.
Three persons were detained by police.

MURDER IN LA HORQUETTA

A man was shot dead at Tecoma Blvd, La Horquetta on Friday night.
He was identified as Ariel Thomas of the said address. Thomas was fatally shot around 7:00 pm.

He was originally of Gordon Street, Arima.

No arrests were made. The murder toll stands at 335.
