Would the government consider building a police station in or around Enterprise, Chaguanas because of the current crime rate?

Minister of National Security Edmund Dillon is expected to tell the House of Representatives on Friday, in response to a question from Member of Parliament for Chaguanas East Fazal Karim.

Enterprise is in the Chaguanas East electoral constituency.

Karim asked, “with respect to the murder rate” in Chaguanas East, whether “a request for a police station will be facilitated?”

Enterprise has been identified as one of the country’s crime hot spots.

A number of other questions are expected to be answered at Friday’s sitting.
