According to reports, around 9:45 pm, a group of men were liming at a bar near Main Street when a silver vehicle pulled up.

Two men exited with rifles and fired on the group before escaping in the direction of Pashley Street, Laventille.

A police patrol car on duty on the Beetham Highway took the injured to hospital, where Gyam and Quamina were pronounced dead on arrival.
