Why has no one been arrested for the murder of a promising 15-year-old female national footballer in Courland, Tobago?
Abiela Adams, a student of the Signal Hill Secondary School, was found stabbed to death on February 16. She had been repeatedly stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle.
She was reported missing after being seen alive on February 16 around 7.30 pm.
Police said Abiela was partially nude when her body was found on the roadway, near a pile of garbage, at Solenn Lane, Fedilis Heights (North), Courland, around 4.30 am on February 17.
Abiela, who represented the country on the under-15 Trinidad and Tobago National Team, was Tobago’s fourth murder for 2017, equaling the total number of murders recorded last year.
Abiela left home in the company of a 19-year-old male friend, but never returned. He told relatives he dropped her off at a shop near her home around 8 pm. Adams’ male friend, along with other suspects, were taken into custody but later released.
During their investigations, police seized a car with blood in the trunk.
Whose car was it? Whose blood was it? Was any sample of the blood taken for analysis? Did it match Abiela’s blood? Is it true that one of the suspects has highest connections?
Have the police closed the filed on this senseless murder?
Up to now, police do not have a motive for that killing.
