Police are investigating the latest murder which occurred in Petit Bourg on Saturday morning.
The dead man has been identified as Kofi Goodridge, 25.
According to reports, residents of Mendoza Lane, Petit Bourg, heard loud explosions, however, they did not go out to investigate the source of the noise.
Around 9 am on Saturday, the residents discovered the bullet-riddled body of a man in a drain off the roadway.
He had been shot to the head and chest.
The body was removed to the Forensic Sciences Center, Federation Park, for an autopsy on Monday. The murder toll stands at 93.
Meanwhile, two men were warded at the Port of Spain General Hospital following a shooting incident on Friday night in Petit Valley.
Emanuel Duncan, 19, and Kerron Saunders, 32, were said to be among a group of people who were liming along Simeon Road, Petit Valley, when a black Nissan Tiida motor vehicle pulled along side them.
Three men, with masks over their faces, disembarked the vehicle.
The group, on seeing the masked men, attempted to flee the scene.
Several loud explosions were heard, and the three assailants were then observed returning to the vehicle and driving off.
Only Duncan and Saunders were injured.
Duncan was shot in the left buttocks, while Saunders was shot in the right thigh.
The police and emergency health services were notified and the two wounded men were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
They were warded in a stable condition.
The Tiida was found abandoned a short distance away.
