A man who was reported missing on Wednesday was found dead in his car on Friday.

Hayden Chickoree, 34, of Brazil Village, San Rafael, left home around 5.30 am on Wednesday to go to work and never returned home.

A report was made to the police.  Relatives told police that Chickoree was in the habit of staying out late at night but would return home. On Tuesday night, he made the casino circuit, the last of which was on Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook.

Friends and relatives tried to contact Chickoree on Wednesday and Thursday but there was no response on his cell phone.

His Nissan AD wagon was also missing. His body was found inside the vehicle parked along a roadway in Brazil Village at around 2 pm on Friday.

Investigators were unable to immediately determine the cause of death.

His body was removed to the Forensic Sciences Centre, Federation Park, for an autopsy on Monday.

Chickoree’s relatives confirmed his death but were unable to come to terms with the tragedy.

Police said his cellphone was tracked his cellphone to several locations in Port-of-Spain.

Police are searching for a suspect based on his cell phone records.
