A mechanic who kidnapped and buggered two boys, were denied bail when he appeared in court on Monday.
Joseph Kyle Nicholas, 21, of Arima, appeared before Port of Spain Seventh Court Magistrate, Adia Mohammed. He was charged with driving without a driver’s permit or insurance, and possession of a firearm, on April 28 at Gordon Street, Port-of-Spain. Nicholas was also charged with common assault, robbery with aggravation, kidnapping, false imprisonment, sexual touching and the buggery of a 12-year-old boy.
The court was told that he has a pending charge of robbery with aggravation committed in 2012, but details of this charge will be presented to the court on Wednesday during the next court appearance.
He is also charged with the grievous sexual assault, kidnapping, robbery with aggravation, and buggery involving a boy in Arima on April 8.
Nicholas is being defended by attorneys Shiva Boodoo and Roshni Balkaran.
