Despite his challenges …”ROODAL PRESSES ON”

Spread the word

Attorney General Faris Al Rawi was correct when he said in Parliament on Friday that Oropouche East MP, Dr Roodal Moonilal, was the chief spokesman for the Opposition.

Despite allegations and threats of serving him with court documents or a warrant, Dr Moonilal continues to be a thorn in the side of the present Government with his revelations during debates in parliament.

Two of these revelations include photos of the children of the Attorney General firing high powered weapons at Camp Cumuto Barracks on October 31, 2015, and cell phone messages between the AG and a document server in which it is alleged that an attempt was made to bug the offices of UNC Senator Gerald Ramdeen sometime in 2016.

Moonilal was also at the forefront of assisting his constituents during the recent floods. So, it came as no surprise when he received a special award from the SDMS Debe Hindu Primary School for his outstanding contribution to the school over the years. The school is celebrating 65 years.

Dr Moonilal receives an award from Principal Usha Rampersad. Looking on are teachers Vashtie Maharaj and Indra Mahadeo
