A prisoner already charged with killing his ex-lover, awoke on Friday to hear that he was being charged with the murder of his stepdaughter.
Many felt the killing of the two-year-old girl would remain unsolved, but the Homicide detectives pursued this and after advice from the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, they have charged Adrian Noel with another murder.
This was the same Noel, who on September 17, 2013, went to the Chaguanas Health Center with his stepdaughter, Kimora Roopnarine.
He said Kimora had spent the earlier part of the day at a day care center which is located a short distance from his home at Phyllis Lane, Enterprise.
Noel told medical personnel the child had been gasping for breath.
She died sometime later. An autopsy revealed that Kimora died from two broken ribs and as a result of blunt force trauma.
Things spiraled downwards for Noel and the child’s mother, Patricia Thomas Fletcher, who was found dead in May 2016 with her throat slit.
On May 15, 2016, Fletcher was found with her throat slit in the living room of her Phyllis Lane, Enterprise, Chaguanas, home.
Just hours before she was found murdered, Fletcher was out with friends celebrating her 26th birthday.
After the celebrations, a friend dropped her off at her home, only for her to be found dead later in the day.
