The Police Complaints Authority (PCA) has gotten involved in the social media voice recording of a female police officer.
The PCA stated in a media release on Monday that it will be monitoring the investigations by the Professional Standards Bureau (PSB).
The voice recording gave details about an incident that led to her issuing two traffic tickets to the wife of former Minister of National Security, Howard Chin Lee.
Following the release of the voice recording, Chin Lee issued a statement labeling it as inaccurate and unprofessional since the matter is now before the court.
The release stated that the PCA shall be monitoring and auditing the investigation of the PSB pursuant to Section 21 (1) (c) of the Police Complaints Authority Act, Chapter 15:05.
